What is Ideas to Impact?
The 2020 Ideas to Impact Conference is one of the largest church management and thought leadership gatherings in the country. 800 to 1,000 administrators, lay leaders, and pastors all looking for the latest tools, best ideas, resources, and leadership practices to take back and implement in their churches or organizations will be in attendance.

Join us to hear and learn from speakers representing the top churches in the U.S. that are doing what you want to be doing.

How do I register?

How much does Ideas to Impact cost?
Power Academy (Tuesday ONLY): $199
Ideas to Impact Conference 2-day (Wednesday and Thursday): $499
Tuesday Workshop and Conference 3-day (Tuesday - Thursday): $599

I have completed my registration and want to make a change. What do I do?
You will need to email conference@acst.com with your request. Please refer to the cancellation policy if you are canceling your registration, fees will apply.

I received a promo code. How do I apply it to my registration?
Promo codes are to be applied during the registration process. Promo codes can’t be applied to existing registrations. Promo codes may not be applicable to all registrations, please review your cart to ensure you have qualified for the appropriate discount.

What is the payment policy?
All conference registration fees will be processed via credit card during the registration process.

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to conference@acst.com. Applicable refunds will be processed based on the time and date the request was submitted:
  • Conference registration canceled on or before January 31, 2020, is refundable but subject to a $25 administrative fee.
  • Registrants canceling after January 31, 2020, but before April 17, 2020, will receive a 50% refund.
  • Registrants canceling after April 17, 2020, will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual for the 2020 conference; the existing registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's attendee status.

Please note, registrations can be transferred to another individual within your organization for the same year without penalty (fee).

This cancellation policy does not include the hotel policy or hotel cancellation. Please contact your hotel directly for details.

Are attendee substitutions permitted?

If I’m unable to attend and need to cancel my registration, is transferring my badge to another staff member allowed?
Yes, please email conference@acst.com with your request.

If I cancel my registration, can I transfer my hotel reservation to another attendee?
You will need to contact the hotel directly regarding your reservation and any changes.

Can I bring a guest?
Guests will not be permitted to attend any Ideas to Impact activities. All attendees will be required to have registered for the Ideas to Impact Conference and be wearing their name tag in order to attend any portion of the event.

Are spouses or children invited to Ideas to Impact sessions or activities?
All guests must have a registration; guest passes are not available for purchase. Children under 18 are not eligible to attend the event or activities.

Can I register on behalf of someone else or for a group?
Yes. You can complete the registration form for you and other members of your church.

Accommodations

We have worked with hotels near the Morial Convention Center (MCC) in New Orleans to secure discounted rates for Ideas to Impact attendees.

Are there special hotel rates?
Yes. Check out our Travel page for details on lodging. Rates are guaranteed through May 4, 2020.

How do I book a hotel for Ideas to Impact or make changes to an existing reservation?
Visit the Travel page and click on the Book Now links for the hotel at which you wish to make a reservation or call the hotel and mention that you’d like to book a room for the ACS Technologies conference. Any changes should be made directly with the hotel.

If I cancel my Ideas to Impact registration, can I transfer my hotel reservation to another attendee?
Changes to hotel reservations are made at the discretion of each individual hotel. Please check with the hotel on their policies.

Whom should I contact if I have special dietary needs or allergies?
Limited refreshments will be provided at this event so please be sure to pack snacks as needed. An hour and a half will be given at lunch for you to get food. There is a food court in the convention center and the Hilton has a mall attached to the convention center that also has food options available. Plus being in New Orleans, there are many food options in the vicinity.

At Ideas to Impact

What are the registration hours and locations?
Registration and check-in at Ideas to Impact will be open on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. The Registration/Information Desk will be on the second floor of Hall E.

Will meals be provided at Ideas to Impact?
Light refreshments will be provided so feel free to bring snacks and drinks if you feel you may need an energy boost.

Will shuttle buses be provided?
No. Shuttle buses will not be provided from any area hotels to the MCC. The hotels are located one to 10 minutes walking distance from the convention center. Parking is available for $15/day onsite for anyone unable to walk from the hotels to the MCC.

Are there group meeting spaces provided at Ideas to Impact?
Yes. There are spaces available by reservation. More information about the meeting spaces is available upon request.

What is the recommended attire for Ideas to Impact?
Attire for Ideas to Impact is business casual. A sweater is recommended if you get cold easily.

Yes. The Ideas to Impact 2020 app is available for download in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. I’m having trouble logging in. What should I do?

Is there a place for me to charge my cell phone/laptop/tablet while at the conference?
Yes. Charging stations are available in the Resource Area; however, charging is limited in the session rooms, so please plan to have additional battery sources for use in the sessions.

Driving directions to MCC
Follow airport signs to I-10E to New Orleans and proceed 11.7 miles. Keep right at the fork to stay on I-10 E, following the signs for New Orleans Business District/I-10 E. Keep left at the second fork to continue on US-90 BUS W. Take exit 11 from US-90 toward Tchoupitoulas St./S. Peters St. Turn left onto Annunciation St. and then right onto John Churchill Chase St. Continue 0.1 miles and turn left onto S. Peters St. and then turn right onto St. Joseph St. Turn left at the second cross street onto Convention Center Blvd. The Morial Convention Center is on the right.

What types of tracks and sessions can I expect?
Ideas to Impact has more than 120 sessions, which means there’s something for everyone. There are breakout sessions in a variety of formats, giving you a chance to meet with ACS Technologies team members, learn from experts at innovative churches, and pick up strategies for handling your most critical ministry issues.

Do I need to register for sessions?
No. Sessions during the regular conference are open to all attendees. Tuesday Power Academy sessions must be registered for in advance.
